The Next American Idols!
We have had Pink eye at our house!! I know your jealous I'm sure you can have it next. So Olivia has been a bit bored with the kids in school now and her home with those beautiful pink eyes. So her and I played Singstar the other day. She loves to sing, she walks around all the time singing. So later that night her and Gracie got singing. This is the sight we got of those two belting out the tunes.
She takes her singing very serious! All of you have heard her know. She is very serious. I'll have to record her and post it. She does a great Ariel!
Gracie has to try and keep up with Olivia. She does a darn good job! They really are pretty good singers. I'm quit surprised.

Our New Lawn Ornament!
Last Thursday while pulling out of the drive I noticed my van acting odd. Mind you it has been doing some odd things over the summer but this was worse. The brakes where sticking as I backed out. So that night I had Jerry take it for a drive. We immediately took it to Clair's to hoist it up. Well we found nothing the first round but after running it on the jack and taking the tire off again we found that be are missing a bolt that holds the brakes to the car or to the wheel something with the caliber. (I'm a girl I don't get all this stuff). Well we pulled it on the front lawn so we don't have to back it up.
This is what I get to look at til the part comes which was suppose to be today. But hasn't come yet. And the part for the Jeep hasn't arrived yet either. It has lots of problems. We borrowed my parents Yukon so we have one vehicle that has no problems.
Jerry wanted to let the grass grow around it and get some cinder blocks. Won't the neighbors love us. I wouldn't let him. I asked him to drive it around the block while I mowed. Yeah
We think the van may get traded in SOOOOn!!!

Jerry and The Tree
Well today I have been busy painting our swing set swings. They had to be sand and scrapped. It took most of the afternoon and early evening. After supper I look out the window and this was the sight I saw! This tree is one of the two dead trees we have in our yard. We chopped the other one down a week ago and Jerry thinks he can cut this one down. I hope his life insurance is up to date! Look close I apologize it is a little blurry I am a little shaky after all the painting.

Summer is officially over!!!
Well I think we are ready, we have been shopping for clothes, shoes, supplies and we have been to the beauty shop for a cut and a weave and the nail place for an eye brow waxing. My sympathies to all those with girls. Me include my pocket book shows it!
Well first out the door this morning was Megan. She has to be to school by 7:15 a.m. yeah for me huh! It is a tradition in our house to take a picture here at the top of the stairs. I guess I figure I can tell how tall they where. Another place was the front step and the bench but we lost the tree it died and I ran out of time for the front step.
I hope all of there day is going good!!!
Our Last Saturday Before School!
Our Last Saturday before school begins was spent heading to the airport museum in Roy and a family reunion. We had a reunion in Salt Lake so we decide to make a day out of it. We hit the Training Table for lunch since that is a must when ever we head down that way. Then we went to the museum the kids weren't to excited to go but we have talked about it for awhile now and decide today was the day. The the comments where (we really like this I'm glad we came) Yeah who knew!
I had to take this each of the older girls had a young on there shoulders. Megan had put Gracie down for a minute. I love it when they get along and life is good no fighting!
Olivia loves to pose!
Same with Gracie
Looking though the inside museum. They have some really cool stuff I would recommend a stop if you are ever going past it!
My Girls they are getting so BIG! Where does the time go!
Our family minus the picture taker.
The reunion was next it was at Sugar House Park we have never been there. It is a very nice park just go pottie somewhere else! That was gross! But what public pottie isn't. Any whoo. We haven't gotten together with this side of the family since 2000 and most recent was my Grandmother's Funeral which was a year ago on the 18th. It is her family she only has two sisters remaining and a two sister-in-laws. It was a nice day and we did have a good time. One of my cousins that is around my age was there he was visiting from Florida. So it was good to see everyone!
They can't decide if they want to play the kid games. They think they are too old!
I think I'll sit and watch!
My Cousins husband Kelly helped the kids hit he pinata. I think he had a good time with them too!
It would be complete with a bean bag toss!
And a race to see who can dress and undress the fast in a rely race.
And at the end was the traditional water fight complete with balloons and cup fulls of water. We had a great time. We came home with lots of candy and four wet kids. Which we took down to the Gateway and let them run through the fountains. It was a great day!!!
Our Annual Party!!
Jill said, Heather requested some pictures of our Annual Cook out with the crew!! So here they are. I really don't like my picture taken but I guess that is that. Nicole took the pictures. For those who don't know. This is the group of friends that Jerry and I grew up with. We at least try and get together once in the summer and once in the winter around Christmas. We have a great time seeing everyone and their kids.
Jill and Rhett waiting for the food!
Brian, Trecia and Jill and me starting the cooker again the wind was blowing and it kept blowing the flame out.
Cooking the potatoes Yeah! Isn't it exciting.
Jerry and Nicole
A very windy and blurry picture.
Well we had a great time. Rob and Anissa where on the road so they weren't there. The wind was the only unpleasant thing about the whole evening. Maybe Heather and Darren will join us next time!!!

The Week We Live FOR!!
Well here it is the end of August almost and I'm finally getting the highlight of our summer on the blog. For one, I forgot my camera (yes no need to tell me I'm a dork, know that already) I got a scolding from Jerry as well. This week is the pinnacle of our year and we love every minute of it. It is the best. I'm hoping Celiece and Brad will send me some more pictures and I will post them as well. The first day we rented a boat. We had taken our tube and Curt took his but two days later when we rented the boat again our tube was flat. So we rented a banana. My kids loved it. Gracie and Olivia included.
Baby Tate's idea of a good day at Bear Lake can you blame him!!
The kids on the Banana and when I say kids I really mean they all act like kids! Nathan and Brookie's friend Scott where merciless on the tubes. Scott left though the day we had the banana something about taking Brookann to the airport to fly to New York.
This is the nightly activity. We love it. We spend hours there till we are shriveled.
My beautiful little ones. They love this week too!
More of the Banana!! Look at my brave littlest one!~!
Gracie being brave to who knew!!
Jamie and Bug. They love it too~
We love Bear Lake it is the best place in the world!
