I did IT!

Well I did it. I took Nicole and Megan Monday night to Twilight I wasn't going to do it til I finished the book but I just don't seem to be reading lately so I took them. I loved the movie! I can't wait to finish the book I didn't think I would want to after seeing the movie but I want to know what I missed. I had Megan and Nicole telling me if things where different. I know that some didn't like it but I did and I can't wait to see the next one!

~The Tree and misc things!

Well I was hoping for a new tree this year. The lights have not worked great on ours for a couple of years and I don't like lights they frustrate me. But patient Jerry can deal with the lights so after my black Friday shopping and as the tradition stands we put Christmas up when I get home. I priced trees on my shopping spree and I'm not willing to spend what they want. So back to the old tree. It took us all afternoon to rip a strand of lights off a prelit tree. YUCK! Boy did our fingers hurt. Then a trip to Logan to buy a strand of new lights. This was our afternoon and how it looked the kids had every box of ornaments unpacked and out all over the floor YEAH! What a mess!
Have I mentioned I hate my picture taken and Nicole just loves to take it when she knows that!
The finished product! Yeah a whole day of it. But we are glad it is up and done. Olivia just loves to pose! This is our family night activity. We vary between Singstar or spoons. Jerry helps Olivia I think Gracie has graduated to no help needed! We hope!

And the taz and his nightly activity! He just enjoys us!

Thanksgiving!

Well Thanksgiving has come and gone. It all went off with out a hitch. My Christmas is up except the lights on the house. Some one isn't feeling it this year. I think will talk him into it by Saturday and he will get them up. I didn't take any pictures at Thanksgiving so there is none to show you. I'll take some of the tree experience we had on black Friday it isn't that exciting though. I am grateful for my family and that we all seem to be pretty health. Megan has the stomach crap that I took Nicole to Instacare over two Sundays ago. What a fun day that was and she missed a week of school over it. Yeah. I do believe my couch has permanent marks in it from her laying there for a week she was a very sick chick. She lost 8 pounds which she didn't have that to lose. I wish it would come off me that easy. Well I'll get on the pictures and update shortly it does drive me nuts that I haven't posted in a bit. I'll try and get better at that. Hope your turkey day was great all!

My neighbors had offered us some tickets to Disney on Ice! Sure we would love them. I forgot the camera but we have pictures on the phone as soon as I get them off I will post them. Olivia got to see Ariel her favorite in the whole world. She even sings like her for those of you that have heard her. I'll try and get the pictures soon!

Oh How they Grow!

Our Young Women put on a Wedding Extravaganza about a month or so ago. I couldn't make it we had a soccer game for Megan. But people in the ward brought their wedding dresses and some of the girls got to wear them. This is Nicole and Whitney in some of the dresses. They had such a good time.
Nicole again! These are some of the girls that could wear there dresses! Wow I'm impressed I couldn't. From left to right. Trisha, Britney, I don't know her name (sorry) I know Trisha does. Tania I don't know if I spelled it right and Teresa. Don't they look awesome.

I'm DONE!

Two weeks ago we all had the flu (but Megan). It started with me then went to Olivia and Nicole and Jerry then Gracie finished us off. This was how she would throw up her whole body on the toilet. It was quite funny. We had to take a picture of it. Well the flu is back at least just for Olivia. It started yesterday on the one day in the world that I had something planned. I was going to go with Shirley and visit Ashley and have a day out. I was so looking forward to it! I wanted to cry and I spent the day totally bummed and upset! I know you can't imagine that! I even made a trip to the doctor yesterday because she was complaining about a sore throat so off we went. No strep yeah! But she is still a little sick today. I want everyone well and well for a while longer than a week. And I'm praying we don't get the chickenpox that are going around school. It isn't flu season yet?

Little Jace a Chosen Spirit!

I just wanted to share my weekend with you all. I spent Saturday at little Jace's funeral in Perry. What an awesome funeral it was. For a little guy that didn't spend a lot of time on this earth he touched many lives. Daryl and Ashley talked and what an amazing job they did. I can't get over the strength you both have. You are amazing examples to me. I'm very grateful that we know you will see little Jace again. And I'm grateful for having such awesome people in my life like you guys and all the wonderful people that I have. You are all such amazing examples. It makes you realize how much you have at times like this. It makes you want to strive that much harder to be better in all you do. I came away with a renewed look at life and the fact I need to be better. I want to have the strength that Daryl and Ashley have. I do believe with all my heart that we will all see little Jace again. And I can't wait to watch Daryl and Ashley raise such a shining son of our Heavenly Father. They are such chosen people to get to raise that little spirit. I'm grateful for my children that they are here in my life and such examples. I just want Daryl and Ashley to know you are great examples to me. And you are amazing people so strong and such special people. Thank you for your example and letting me be part of your little family we enjoyed the day so much!

My Dear Friend!

The saddest thing in the world happen last weekend and I can't imagine what they are going through. One of my dearest friends lost her baby last week. And we all have an opportunity to help them through this fundraiser. Most of you know Daryl and Ashley Larsen. For those of you who don't, they are a young couple here in Perry, who just lost their baby to a rare lung disorder. Their loss is truly a tragedy. They are now experiencing the beginnings of what will be a land slide of medical bills. In an effort to aide them, there will be a one day fundraiser at the Maddox Steak House. On November 5, you can call Maddox at 723-2916 and order the Turkey Steak dinner. You can choose the 2 or 4 family meal at the regular price. All proceeds will then be donated to the Larsen family. You do need to remember to mention the Larsen family name when ordering. You can then pick up your meal at the take out window in the back of Maddox. It will be for lunch and dinner. Please spread the word. Feel free to copy and paste this post on your blog.

Here he comes!

Well today is the day. Landen enters the MTC. We all went out last night for a light dessert and to say our goodbye's. It was and enjoyable little visit til we had to say goodbye. I could cry thinking about it. It is really hard to watch my kids say goodbye through tears especially my little ones. We keep telling them how old they will be when he gets home and what grade they will be in. WoW I hope it flies by that fast. I have thought about them all day. Hoping their day went well and that Nancy is doing okay! We sure love him and know he will be a great missionary!! These are the pictures from the dinner on Sunday after his farewell. He did a great job talking!

Jaxson had a good time chasing Olivia around once the tables were taken down.

Brian, Mindi and Karalee visiting!

Little Tater TOT! Isn't he such a cutie! He sure looks like Justin!

Nancy getting pictures of everyone and Grandpa taking care of the garbage!

Some cuties aren't they!

Curt made sure the tables where all cleaned off before we put them away!

While the rest of enjoyed watching. There really wasn't much we could do! REALLY!

It was a super day spent with family. We sure will miss him but we know that it is where he needs to be! He will be a great missionary! We love you Landen!

Thought you would like to see!!! WE DID IT!

Well today was the day. We finally got Jerry to take a day off (well it was really a half day). We rented the chainsaw and off we went. I must admit Jerry enjoyed the chainsaw a little to much. He started by trying to carry it like the axe men do on axe men (great show) but this one was alot smaller than there's so it didn't work. He made the first cuts to the front so it would hopefully fall where we wanted it too. Making the final cut so it will fall!! We tryed to get the animals to stay away and they finally did they enjoyed the show actually. And Nicole was so good she got it on video. You will have to turn side ways since I have no idea how to flip even a picture let alone a movie. She got the whole thing falling. AWESOME! I had to hold the rope to help guide the tree a little. And the sucker fell right where we wanted it to fall!Wohoooooo! It is all cleaned up and done YEAH!! I can't say that enough it has been over a month since I could mow in certain spots. No one got hurt or swashed so it was a success!!!!

Family Pictures!

We finally got together we are good friend Teresa to get our family pictures taken. I think we have had to postpone it three times. The week I don't cancel it rains so in between cloud bursts we got them done. I think they are awesome. She did an amazing job!! Thank you so much Teresa. I still don't like pictures of me but oh well can't have it all but the girls look awesome. These are just a few I didn't know how bored you would want to be if you want more I'll put more on!!!!
I love the side view of Olivia. Isn't she a doll. And I loved this one of Gracie she posed so good for us. Olivia didn't want to pose so she was difficult. But they all worked out! There is so many cute ones but then I think they are cute girls but I'm partial!!!

I'm trying!

I'm trying to update but I can't get my laptop to talk to my other computer to get the pictures off. I'll keep trying.

Jerry and his HOG!

This is for Celiece she asked for pictures of Jerry on his ride. I can't believe you didn't want pictures of me in my ride? Sorry for the sun we couldn't get one with him not shining. Megan got a ride tonight. Notice the gloves my dad said he should ride with gloves and left him and extra pair. Thanks Dad! These next two are for you Celiece. And Nicole coming back from her ride. It has become our nightly activity (Jerry and I not the girls) going on rides. Then we go for our walk. Tonight on our walk we watched a transformer above Richmond blow wow it made a green light and a big pop. When we got up the street a bit we saw the field on fire. For those who know it was to the south and a little east of Maxine Christensen's house. Jerry called 911 they already knew and so we stayed and watched them put it out. Wow what an exciting evening we have had.

NEW!!!!! To us

Well we traded the Lawn Ornament in on this! We got it last Tuesday and I've been to lazy to take a picture so I did it today! yeah aren't you glad. It is a 2006 Kia Sedona with no frills or anything. No Automatic door but the middle windows go down. We swapped all the frills for newer and less miles.
Nicole got carried away with pictures so here you go! That is Megan in the window of the van! Also on Wednesday my dad had offered Jerry his old Motorcycle and he brought it up. Mind you it is a 1982 CX500 Custom with only 4000 miles. I remember the day we brought it home to surprise my dad for father's day he didn't ever ride it much it has just sat in the garage. The tires have had to be replaced from rotting. Jerry has been in love with this since he meet me and when it was offered to him one night at dinner he asked how much. My dad being the sweetheart he is gave it to Jerry with a few rules. My only rule was that he wears a helmet. Well he has already broke that one. Pray for us. Jerry has been on a ride every night since he got it. He has got it all shined up and is so excited. Thank you dad you made Jerry's year!! He loves it.

It is a pretty bike I guess that is the wrong term for a male bike Oh well!

Brett and Emily came to visit!!

On Friday Brett and Emily (for those who don't know who they are he is my only cousin on my mom's side, so he is like my brother) came up and spent the night with us. We had the whole family up for a cookout and then spent the evening visiting and holding Abby. We are so glad they where here. They blessed Abby on Sunday in Centerville so it was a great weekend spent with family!
Here is Gracie having a turn holding Abby. She is such a cutie!

Gracie and Joseph. They are quite the buddies and they sure can find trouble to get into together! This is Isabelle and Olivia. Olivia can't wait to get the chance to play with belle. They get along really well. Megan's turn holding Abby.

Nicole's turn! Emily with Abby. Brett and her are great parents. They are and will do a super job with her! Brett and one of his faces! Me and Emily! Such a great picture of me. I don't like pictures of me! But who does. Brenda and Emma listening to the conversation. Brett being in law school has given him a fighting chance against Keith in a discussion. But nobody can compete with Keith.
