Oneida!!

As Promised pictures of us floating the Onieda Narrows. We had so much fun! I hope we go again. Megan doesn't want to however. This is us getting ready to get in the water.
And the fun begins. I couldn't believe how fast the current was. It would just take you away. I tried getting in on a shallow part but then I couldn't move so I went to a faster part. I got a big scrap up my leg no blood just a good bruise. Grandpa and Grandma watched the little ones at the end of the float they wadded in the water and entertained themselves. I think they had a good time. More fun! Me at the end of the float I don't swim so that is why I was in a life jacket.

Jerry at the end of the float He was trying to get out. Best part is he saw where Landon was and thought it was about knee deep well where he was it was waist deep unexpected fall and he lost his sunglasses and almost lost the tube. It was hilarious! Nicole on her way out!

Megan wouldn't let go of her dad she freaked out a bit at the beginning when she got washed over to the side of the river. So this was how she rode the rest of the way. She never let go.

We had a great time! Thanks Jamie for thinking to plan it! It was so much fun!

A Trip Down Memory Lane!

  1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! It can be on either Jerry or Myself or both!
  2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.EVERYBODY PLAY! I want to see what memories you have!!(especially since mine is failing me)

Baby Tate!

The day we floated Baby Tate came to Richmond for his first visit. We went over to Curt and Nancy's to see him for the first time. He is so dang cute. I only got to hold him for a minute he was hungry and not happy. Grandma Nancy had been holding him so we got a few pictures. We can't wait to see him again!! I think will have to go to Brigham they don't travel this way much.

Olivia can ride a bike!!

We got a call several days ago from Grandma Helen. The two little ones were over playing. Grandma wanted us to walk to the corner to watch Olivia. Grandpa had taken her training wheels off and she was riding with out them. The picture is a little fuzzy we need to work on Nicole's steadiness she is a little shakey. What a sight to see my Baby! riding with out help. Grandpa has been the one who has taught the younger two on there path to free riding without training wheels. Gracie was riding without there help from day one. She always had such great balance on the bike. My kids are getting so big it just blows me away how fast the time goes. Summer is almost over the thought just makes me want to cry. I enjoy my kids being home. I always look forward to the vacation days.
Nicole got her on video she just cruzes down the road like nobody's business.

July 4th!!

On the 4th we went to the Lewiston parade and we got there on time for once! It took the parade over half an hour to get to us. But it was a good parade. You'll notice Gracie is a little toothless these days. The top one is the black tooth she bumped several times as she chipped the one next to it which we have had fixed three times. It was getting infected and had to come out. And the bottom she lost all on her own. I can't believe she is big enought to lose teeth. Gracie and her odd faces! Master Jerry! Olivia not to sure about things.
After the parade we darted to Logan to have lunch with my family which is a Meikle tradition on holidays. And then back home to go to Riverdale with Curt and Nancy's family. We round out the evening with a cookout at Curt's. Brad and Pam came up and then we went to the fireworks in Lewiston. It was a great day. We had such a good time at everything we did. We need a vacation after the vacation.
The next day we floated down the Onieda Narrows with Curt and Nancy and clan. We had such a good time. I'm waiting for Jamie to send me some pictures and then I will post our fun!

July 3rd Fireworks!!

I have finally gotten around to posting our July events or some of them anyway. I'm still waiting for pictures from Jamie on some of our activities!
On July 3rd we went to the Stadium for the fireworks it is the first time in years (I mean years) that we went in. We went with Curt and Nancy's family and Grandma and Grandpa. It was the first time that Olivia has been that close to fireworks. So we were all excited to see what she would do. Landon and Grandpa and Gracie killing time for before the fireworks start. Mindi and Jamie poor Devin had to work so we just got Mindi. We were excited she was there and of course Jamie and Landon too. We look forward to spending time with them as often as we can. Olivia wanted her dad to buy her nachos and he said no! So she didn't want to be our little girl anymore. She was going to live with Curt and Nancy they would take care of her. Needless to say I did buy her some Nachos I hope she always remembers mom gives in I'm sure all regret that someday! The First Firework went off she wasn't to sure about it. We all watched her for those first few. The look and her actions were priceless. She would jump from Grandma to me but I think she enjoyed them.

We had a great time at the fireworks we didn't get home til almost midnight. We enjoyed Logan Cities attempt at getting the stadium parking lot emptied quickly. It didn't work!! We just layed a blanket out on the lawn and watched as people just sat in there cars lined up for miles.

I hope they think of something diffrent for next year!!
