CRAZY!!!

Life has been crazy these last few weeks. So that is why I have no updates. There is plenty going on. We have started soccer and this year I have three playing this season. Nicole and Megan are in the same bracket this year so they will play each other. How exciting for us. Megan's team was number 1 last fall and Nicole's was in the bottom 3 in the fall. They play each other for the first time on Saturday and we won't even be there. It is Helen and Clair's 50th anniversary and we are all going to dinner at Maddox to celebrate. And Mindi gets married Friday. We have had a week of wedding showers and temple attendance what could be better. Gracie has had three games and played 2 of them. They won the first one and lost the last two. I had to be the coach for the last one. I'm glad i am not that all the time. I will keep you informed. Hopefully I will have pictures to post after this weekend. I will have to remember my camera or make Nicole remember hers.

General Young Women Meeting

Nicole performed on Saturday night at the General Young Women meeting. Wow! What an experience. All I could do when they got up to sing was cry. The spirit was amazing. President Eyring's talk was great his emotions where so close to the surface. It was an amazing experience to watch the Prophet walk into the conference center. And all go quiet. We had great seats we where on the plaza level and we could watch Nicole the whole time. For all of you if you get a chance to watch her she was behind the organ 2 rows up and 3 seats in you could see her during the song "How Firm a Foundation" it will be broadcast again on Sunday the 6th at 6:30 a.m. and then on the 11th at noon. Thanks for the info Peggy. What an amazing experience this has been for all our family. I can't express how awesome it has been. Nicole is so grateful for the experience and so are we as her parents. Thank you Celiece and Pam and Nancy for going with us and sharing in such an awesome experience. We had a great time with you guys. We need to do that again.

Nicole and the Conference Center!

Saturday for us began very early. All six of us left the house at 6:30 a.m. and drove to Salt Lake City. Nicole had to be in the Conference Center at 9:00 a.m.Marilyn Webb has been the chorister for the girls. She is from Salt Lake and she is so funny and just an awesome lady. Nicole has loved every minute of working with her. She has such an amazing way with the girls she has made it enjoyable and such a rewarding experience. Nicole is two rows up from the organ. At the end of the practice they allowed the parents to come take pictures of the girls. As you can tell Nicole wasn't aware Jerry was there snapping shots. The girls sound amazing!! That is such an understatement i'm sure. You can feel everything that is in there hearts I believe this is an experience they will never forget. As you can tell the girls where really good while we sat for 3 hours. Olivia finally gave up at the end of it. She had had enough and I was glad to have her go to sleep for awhile the questions where getting to me. They really were good kids for such an event to seat at. After the practice was over we ate and took the kids to "Horton, Hears a Who" it was really cute and I am proud to say that Olivia and Gracie finally sat through a movie. We had a great day! I did feel bad the little ones missed out on any egg hunts for the day but thanks to Grandma Marsha they did get to have an egg hunt the next day.
It didn't turn out really good but you the idea.

Denver!!!

On February 21 we got the chance to fly to Denver Nicole, Megan and I and we invited Sadie to go with us. We had beautiful weather and a great time.
This is the plane we flew to Denver on. Nicole, Megan and Sadie this was there first flight ever. I thought I was going to have to carry Sadie on the plane. She said 5 prayers and sang I am a Child of God. I figured we where covered. Nicole and Sadie after we arrived in Denver. The first day we where there we went and saw Hannah Montana in 3D. We where able to pick out one of Nicole's friends sister. It was filmed in Salt Lake so we spent a lot of time trying to pick people out we knew and that is the only one we could see. The Next day we meet Peggy's friend and mine Del and Jalaine in Aurora at the Hibachi place. The kids had a ball! And we got to meet Haliey, Jalaine and Doug's little girl. They cooked our food in front of us with all sorts of fun tricks. Here they set a onion into a volcano. It was awesome. We all learned to eat with chopsticks. I did pretty good.
We also got to meet Del's mom Patsy, what a sweet lady.

This is Del and Hailey I can't figure out how to flip the picture sorry. Haliey is just adorable I just loved to hold her. Jalaine and Doug did very well and we are so glad that all is well with her since she was a month early and weighed only 3 lbs when she was born. She is now up to 7 lbs.

After the restaurant we went to Jalaines and made photo books. We had a so much fun. We just love spending time with Jalaine and Del they are just awesome people and so much fun to be around. It was a great day.

Before we sent Nicole home on the plane we made jewelry. That was a lot of fun to.This is the plane Nicole flew home on. We had to send Nicole home a day early. For those who don't know she was invited to sing in the Young Women's choir for the General Young Women meeting on March 29 in the Conference center. What a experience for her.

We had a spectacular time. The weather was great we walked around each day with out coats on. We hit the malls and just had a great time. Thank you to Skip and Peggy for letting us come. We had so much fun!!! Jerry and my mother-in-law tend the younger two I think he enjoyed his time with the kids and I did come back to a husband that appreciated me even more. I would recommend that to anyone. And I'm thankful to my mother-in-law for tending and feeding my kids and Jerry. Thank you so much I am so grateful to you for doing that.
