Well today was the day. We finally got Jerry to take a day off (well it was really a half day). We rented the chainsaw and off we went. I must admit Jerry enjoyed the chainsaw a little to much. He started by trying to carry it like the axe men do on axe men (great show) but this one was alot smaller than there's so it didn't work. He made the first cuts to the front so it would hopefully fall where we wanted it too.
Making the final cut so it will fall!!
We tryed to get the animals to stay away and they finally did they enjoyed the show actually.
And Nicole was so good she got it on video. You will have to turn side ways since I have no idea how to flip even a picture let alone a movie. She got the whole thing falling. AWESOME! I had to hold the rope to help guide the tree a little. And the sucker fell right where we wanted it to fall!Wohoooooo! It is all cleaned up and done YEAH!! I can't say that enough it has been over a month since I could mow in certain spots. No one got hurt or swashed so it was a success!!!!

Sound like an exciting afternoon. Thanks for the invite to your party I will have to see how the week goes I get my EEG on Monday and see the Neurologist on Tuesday. Right now I'm playing everything by ear. I will let you know for sure next week. It would be great to see you and chat face to face:)
Wow, you guys are talented lumberjacks. Maybe you should go into business. If I had tried that I'm sure it would have mashed either the house or myself or something when it fell. Good job!
What a fun afternoon for you guys...
Your comment on my blog reminded me about something I wanted to tell you about sitting by Megan on Sunday...
You know how some girls near her age are a little boy crazy? Well one was telling me all about this boy she likes to "put her arms around" during school and when she looked to Megan to have her testify to me that it was true, Megan just said, "He's creepy." The other girl was like, no he's not, he's really nice..etc, etc. Megan just looked at me again, rolled her eyes and said, "He's creepy." I saw so much maturity in her and wanted you to know that she has her head on straight! Way to go Mom!
All I have to say is cool and good work! I'm impressed!
Sorry to post again, but I wanted to thank you for the sweet comment on my blog post today. It means a lot to me! Thanks!
Way to chop a tree!! Jerry looks a professional. :)

I'm hoping is doesn't happen again :) In the mean time I'm stuck bumming rides and learning the LTD. Thanks for the invite maybe we can figure out another time we can get together.
